Intro to Child soldiers

The issue of child soldiers is a growing problem in many areas such as Burma, Iran, Algeria, Angola, Burundi, Congo-Brazzaville, The Democratic Republic of Congo, Liberia, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, Sudan and Uganda. In Burma, 70,000 children serve the national army, with children as young as 12 forcibly recruited off the streets. Many are drugged. There are more than 250,000 child soldiers fighting around the world under the age of 18, some as young as 7 or 8.
